How are the hair elastics made?

The entire ZigZagFun collection is handcrafted in Gran Canaria, using residues from the textile industry to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainability. 

The hair elastics are made by local people creating jobs in an area where 30% of the population is still unemployed despite the mass tourism the island receives every year. And thus contribute to a local community.

Why good for your hair?

Our ZigZag hair elastics are incredibly soft and prevent hair breakage.
Thanks to our innovative unique pull-on system, you only need to put your hair through the zigzag loop once, pull it on and you're done. Unlike traditional hair elastics, which require 3 to 4 pulls, this minimizes the risk of damaging your hair.
ZigZagfun hair elastics remove your hair painlessly. Open the loop so the zigzag gets bigger and you won't take a single hair with you when removing your hair elastic. Unlike the traditional hair elastic that you cannot open and is often painful to remove.

TIP: If you have long thick , curly , afro hair or thin hair make the zigzag all the way open when removing it from your hair and later reattach it easily by pulling the knot through the loop.

How do you wear it?

Choose the way that suits you

Ponytails

Pass your ponytail through the loop once and pull the end of the ribbon tight and you're done, the hair elastic will be perfectly in place in no time. You can choose to simply drop the end of the ribbon into your hair for a casual look, or wrap it around the hair elastic 2-3 times and secure it with the small knot at the end of the ribbon for a more elegant style.

Bring your hair together at the desired height. Pull your hair halfway through the loop Pull the end of the band tightly form your hair bun and it's done. You can choose to let the end of the band hang loose for a casual look or wrap it around the hair elastic 2-3 times and secure it with the small knot at the out end of the band for a more elegant styling.

Bracelets

Put the ZigZag band on your wrist let the end hang loose or attach the end underneath and you're done. Do you like it casual? Put 3 or 4 together on your wrist.
